# How to connect Discord with Crisp

*Learn how the Discord integration works and how to connect it to your Crisp workspace.*

The **Discord** integration lets your team receive customer messages in a Discord channel and reply from there. Conversations remain synchronized with Crisp, so your team can work from Discord or from the Crisp Inbox.

| The Discord integration is available from the **Crisp Essentials** plan.

# ${color}[#0080dd](Frequently Asked Questions)

*Still have questions which were not covered in this article? Here is a collection of the most frequently asked questions on this topic.*

###### ${color}[#F08820](Why am I not receiving Crisp messages on my Discord server?)

Check the Discord plugin settings in Crisp and make sure a Discord channel is selected. Also confirm the Crisp bot is still present in your Discord server. If it is missing, reconnect the integration from the plugin settings.

###### ${color}[#F08820](Are messages sent from Discord still stored in Crisp?)

Yes. Visitor and operator messages are still stored in Crisp, even when operators reply from Discord. You can keep using Crisp apps to search conversation history and manage conversations.

###### ${color}[#F08820](Can I still reply from the regular Crisp apps?)

Yes. Some teammates can reply from Discord while others reply from Crisp. Crisp synchronizes messages between both tools.

###### ${color}[#F08820](Do I need to add Discord users as Crisp operators?)

No. Messages sent from Discord use the sending Discord user profile, so visitors can see the operator first name. This is useful for larger teams that do not need every Discord user to have a Crisp operator account.

###### ${color}[#F08820](Which Discord commands are available?)

You can control some parts of a Crisp conversation by replying to a Discord message with a command.

__Available Discord commands:__
* **Resolve conversation** → `!resolve`
* **Reply to a customer** → `!reply <message_to_customer>`
* **See available commands** → `!help`

For example, reply with `!reply Hello John` in the Discord thread to send “Hello John” to the matching Crisp conversation.

|| Commands must be used as a reply to a message in Discord.

###### ${color}[#F08820](How do I get support for the Discord integration?)

If conversations are not arriving in Discord, first check that the selected Discord channel is public and that the Crisp bot can access it. If the issue persists, contact Crisp from the [contact page](https://crisp.chat/en/contact/) with your workspace and Discord channel details.
