# How to install the Crisp AI Support Bot and web chat on Shopware stores

*This article explains how to add Crisp Live Chat to a Shopware website.*

Shopware installation relies on a community extension built by CodeGiganten, **not a native Crisp-maintained plugin**. Once installed, the extension loads the Crisp [web chat widget](https://crisp.chat/en/livechat/) on your store using your Crisp Website ID.

||| This is a community extension, not a Crisp-maintained integration. The Shopware Store currently marks the extension as not compatible with the newest Shopware version, so check compatibility before installing it on a production store.

# ${color}[#0080dd](Install the Crisp extension for Shopware)

The extension is available from the Shopware Store as [Crisp Integration: Live Chat for Better Customer Service](https://store.shopware.com/en/cogi667480779141f/crisp-integration-live-chat-for-better-customer-service.html).

__To install the extension:__
1. Open your Shopware dashboard.

2. Go to **Extensions → My Extensions**.

3. Upload the extension `.zip` file or browse the Shopware Marketplace.

4. Click **Install**.
5. Enable the extension.
6. Click **Configure**.

# ${color}[#0080dd](Configure your Crisp Website ID)

The extension needs your Website ID to connect the store to the right Crisp workspace.

__To finish the setup:__
1. Find your Website ID with [this guide](/en/article/where-to-find-my-website-id-1ylqx1s/).
2. Paste it in the extension **Website ID** field.
3. Click **Save**.
4. Open your storefront and check that the Crisp chatbox appears.

| Crisp-side features such as workflows, knowledge base content, and Hugo AI Agent are configured from Crisp, not from Shopware.
