# How to share Analytics dashboards with your team

*Share an Analytics Dashboard with your workspace so your team can view and edit the same reporting setup.*

Analytics Dashboards are private by default. When you share a Dashboard, workspace operators with access to [Analytics](https://crisp.chat/en/analytics/) can open, view, and edit it.

# ${color}[#0080dd](Share a new Dashboard with your team)

You can make a Dashboard available to your team directly when creating it.

#### ${color}[#445055](Steps)

1. Open [**Crisp**](https://app.crisp.chat), then go to **Analytics → Dashboards**.
2. Click **Create new dashboard**.
3. Enter a name for your Dashboard.
4. Check **Share this dashboard**.
5. Click **Create Dashboard**.

Once created, the Dashboard appears in the Dashboard list for workspace operators who have access to **Analytics**. They can view and edit the shared Dashboard.

# ${color}[#0080dd](Share an existing Dashboard)

You can also share a Dashboard that was initially created as private.

#### ${color}[#445055](Steps)

1. Open [**Crisp**](https://app.crisp.chat), then go to **Analytics → Dashboards**.
2. Hover the Dashboard you want to share.
3. Click **⋯ (More)**.
4. Select **Edit**.
5. Check **Share this dashboard**.
6. Click **Save Dashboard**.

The Dashboard is now shared with workspace operators who have access to **Analytics**.

# ${color}[#0080dd](Private and shared Dashboards)

The sharing setting determines who can access a custom Dashboard.

* **Private Dashboard** → only you can view and edit the Dashboard
* **Shared Dashboard** → workspace operators with Analytics access can view and edit the Dashboard

You can change this setting at any time by opening **⋯ (More) → Edit** from the Dashboard list.

|| Sharing a Dashboard gives other operators access to edit it as well as view it. Changes made to a shared Dashboard can therefore affect the reporting view used by the rest of your team.
