How to install the Crisp live-chat chatbox on Weweb.io

This article explains how to add the Crisp chatbox to a WeWeb website.

WeWeb lets you add custom code to your project, which makes it possible to load the Crisp chatbox on your published website.

What is WeWeb?

WeWeb is a no-code front-end builder for creating web applications and websites. It includes a visual editor and supports integrations with external services and custom code.

Copy your Crisp chatbox script

Start by retrieving the Crisp script from your workspace.

To copy your Crisp script:

Open Crisp.
Navigate to Settings → Workspace Settings → Setup & Integrations.
Open HTML.
Copy your Crisp chatbox code.

Add the script in WeWeb

Paste the Crisp script in your WeWeb custom code settings.

To install Crisp in WeWeb:

Open WeWeb.
Log in to your dashboard or create an account.
Open the project you want to edit.
Go to Settings → Custom code.

Open custom code settings in WeWeb

Paste the Crisp JavaScript widget in the Header section.
Save and publish your project.
Open the published website and check that the chatbox appears.

Add the Crisp script in WeWeb custom code

Make sure you copy the script from your own Crisp workspace. A script from another workspace will load the wrong chatbox.
