How to automatically hide the chatbow when all agents are offline

This article explains how to hide the Crisp chatbox when all operators are away.


This option is useful when you only want visitors to see the chatbox while your team is available. When everyone is away, the widget is hidden from your website until support becomes available again.



Hide the chatbox when support is away


Crisp can automatically hide the chatbox when all operators in your workspace are away.


To enable this behavior:

  1. Go to Crisp
  2. Open Settings → Chatbox Settings → Chatbox Behavior → Hide Chatbox
  3. Enable Hide the chatbox if all operators are away
  4. Let Crisp auto-save the change

Use availability schedules


This setting works best when your team availability is configured properly. Each operator can manage their own availability from Settings → Account → Availability.


Availability schedules help Crisp know when your team should be online or away, so the chatbox can follow your business hours more reliably.
