Background patterns are a simple way to make the widget feel closer to your brand while keeping the chatbox layout familiar for visitors.

Change the chatbox background

You can choose a background pattern from the chatbox appearance settings.

To update the background pattern:

1. Go to Crisp
2. Open Settings → Chatbox Settings → Chatbox Appearance
3. Find Chatbox background
4. Select the pattern you want to use
5. Let Crisp auto-save the change

Match the background with your colors

A background pattern works best when it fits your chatbox colors. You can also change the chatbox color theme or use Advanced Chatbox Customization for a deeper brand setup.
