How to install the Crisp live-chat chatbox on Shopware stores

This article explains how to add Crisp Live Chat to a Shopware website.


Shopware installation relies on a community extension built by CodeGiganten, not a native Crisp-maintained plugin. Once installed, the extension loads the Crisp widget on your store using your Crisp Website ID.


This is a community extension, not a Crisp-maintained integration. The Shopware Store currently marks the extension as not compatible with the newest Shopware version, so check compatibility before installing it on a production store.



Install the Crisp extension for Shopware


The extension is available from the Shopware Store as Crisp Integration: Live Chat for Better Customer Service.


To install the extension:

  1. Open your Shopware dashboard.

  1. Go to Extensions → My Extensions.

  1. Upload the extension .zip file or browse the Shopware Marketplace.

  1. Click Install.
  2. Enable the extension.
  3. Click Configure.

Configure your Crisp Website ID


The extension needs your Website ID to connect the store to the right Crisp workspace.


To finish the setup:

  1. Find your Website ID with this guide.
  2. Paste it in the extension Website ID field.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Open your storefront and check that the Crisp chatbox appears.


Adding the Website ID in Shopware


Crisp-side features such as workflows, knowledge base content, and Hugo AI Agent are configured from Crisp, not from Shopware.
