Is the Magic Browse feature GDPR compliant?

Magic Browse is an innovative feature we offer. You can help your customer and lead them through your website directly and easily. This feature is available on the Unlimited Plan.

How is it Working?

MagicBrowse
simply renders HTML and CSS contained on your website in an iframe on Crisp. It also reproduce mouse move and scroll.

Is that GDPR compliant?

First, Crisp is not storing anything on servers and this feature is fully passive. Also Magicbrowse is hiding by default some values that might contain private/sensitive information like inputs.

You can hide some custom information from MagicBrowse by using this method to prevent custom elements being tracked by Magic Browse.

Finally, MagicBrowse is obviously scoped to the page your visitor is currently browsing on your website. We will never have access to your user’s browser or desktop.

However, if you are still afraid of the feature, and you don’t want to use this feature, you can disable it totally in the plugin section.
