How to connect Stripe with Crisp

Learn how to connect Stripe to Crisp so your team can view billing context from the Inbox.

The Stripe integration helps support teams view customer subscription and payment information without leaving Crisp. It is designed to bring billing context into customer conversations while keeping sensitive Stripe actions controlled from Stripe.

Connect Stripe to Crisp

  1. Go to Crisp.
  2. Open Plugins → Stripe.
  3. Install the Stripe integration.
  4. Follow the connection flow to authorize Crisp with your Stripe account.
  5. Return to Crisp and open a conversation linked to a customer with Stripe billing data.

Once connected, the Stripe widget can display billing details and history from the Crisp conversation sidebar.

What the Stripe integration does

The Stripe integration lets operators view customer billing information from the Inbox. This helps your team answer payment, subscription, and invoice questions with more context.

The integration can help your team:

  • View subscriptions → check subscription status from the customer conversation
  • Review payments → see billing history without switching tabs
  • Open Stripe details → access the customer record in Stripe when deeper billing work is needed
  • Keep agents read-only in Crisp → let support agents view context while sensitive billing changes stay controlled in Stripe

The Stripe integration is primarily for billing visibility inside Crisp. For payment modifications or subscription changes, open the customer record in Stripe and use your normal Stripe permissions.

Use Stripe with Hugo integrations

Stripe can also be used as one of Hugo's native integrations when your AI Agent setup includes MCP tools. In that context, Hugo can fetch user billing context or invoice information within the rules you configure.
