How to install the Crisp live-chat chatbox on Prestashop stores
This article explains how to install Crisp Live Chat and Hugo AI Agent on a PrestaShop store.
The Crisp PrestaShop add-on lets you add the chatbox to your store, connect store data with Crisp, and prepare your ecommerce support setup for workflows and Hugo AI Agent integrations.
What you need
Before installing the add-on, make sure your store and workspace are ready.
Requirements:
- PrestaShop version → an ecommerce website using PrestaShop v1.7 or higher
- Crisp account → an existing Crisp workspace or a new account created from Crisp
Download the PrestaShop add-on
Start from the PrestaShop Addons Marketplace, then install the downloaded module from your PrestaShop admin.
To download the add-on:
- Open the PrestaShop Addons Marketplace.
- Search for
Crisp. - Open the Crisp - Live Chat & AI Agent listing.

- Click Download.
- Fill in the requested information.
- Select your store version.
- Download the
.zippackage.

Install the add-on in PrestaShop
Upload the .zip package directly in your PrestaShop module manager.
To install the module:
- Open your PrestaShop admin.
- Go to Modules → Module Manager.

- Click Upload a module.
- Select the downloaded
.zippackage. - Do not unzip the file before uploading it.

Connect PrestaShop to Crisp
Once the module is installed, configure it to connect PrestaShop with your Crisp workspace.
To connect the add-on:
- Open the Crisp add-on configuration.
- Associate your PrestaShop account with your store.
- Enable data sharing if you want to use the ecommerce features.
- Click Install Crisp on my PrestaShop.

Link an existing Crisp workspace
If you already have a Crisp account, select the workspace you want to connect to your PrestaShop data.

Create a new Crisp workspace
If you do not have a Crisp account yet, follow the account creation steps shown by the add-on. You can disable the chatbox later if you only want to prepare the integration first.

Link PrestaShop Webservices
Complete the Webservices connection so Crisp can synchronize the store data required by the integration.

Once connected, your Crisp workspace should show the PrestaShop integration as installed.
