How to redirect emails from Gmail to Crisp
Forward your Gmail emails to Crisp so your team can handle email support from the Inbox alongside other channels.
Forwarding a Gmail or Google Workspace mailbox to Crisp is one of the easiest ways to centralize support. Once it is set up, incoming emails land in your Inbox, where your team can use assignments, shortcut replies, routing, and all the other collaboration tools already available in Crisp.

Get your Crisp forwarding address
Open Crisp, then go to Settings → Workspace Settings → Setup & Integrations → Email.
Open the email section for your workspace and copy your Crisp email redirection address.

Set up forwarding in Gmail
Open Gmail, click the gear icon, then choose See all settings.

Go to Forwarding and POP/IMAP, then click Add a forwarding address.

Paste your Crisp forwarding address and continue the setup.

Gmail then sends a verification code to your Crisp Inbox. Retrieve that code from Crisp, return to Gmail, and finish the confirmation step.
Once verified, choose what Gmail should do with forwarded messages and save your changes.
Forward only part of your inbox
If you only want certain emails to reach Crisp, create a Gmail filter and forward only the matching messages.
Go to Filters and blocked addresses, then click Create a new filter.

Define the rule you want to use, such as forwarding only contact form requests or emails sent to a specific alias.

Then choose your Crisp forwarding address in Forward it to and save the filter.

Forward multiple mailboxes and tag them automatically
If your company uses several addresses such as billing@company.com, sales@company.com, and support@company.com, you can still forward them all to Crisp.
A helpful trick is to append +segment to your Crisp forwarding address so each mailbox automatically adds its own segment.
Example:
- Main Crisp address →
contact@acme.on.crisp.email - Billing mailbox forwarding address →
contact+billing@acme.on.crisp.email
That way, all emails forwarded from billing@acme.com can arrive in Crisp already tagged with the billing segment.
You can then use those segments for custom filters and routing.
