How to block the chat for specific IPs

Crisp allows you to block the chatbox for some IPs, to prevent them from messaging you.


Here is how to proceed:
Go to your Crisp dashboard
Head over to the Settings from the bottom-left icon
Navigate to Settings > Chatbox Settings > Chatbox Restrictions
Click on the Add a blocked IP button



We accept both IPv4 and IPv6 and CIDR notation


Here are a few examples:
44.192.61.10 will hide the chatbox only for this IPv4
2607:f0d0:1002:51::4 will hide the chatbox only for this IPv6
44.192.61.10/24 will hide the chatbox only for all IPs from 44.192.61.1 to 44.192.61.1254

You can clear (unblock) all previously blocked IPs and email address from the same menu, by hitting the "Clear all Blocked Rules" red button.
