How to customize my chatbox?
Using Crisp, your chatbox can fit with your brand. Using this article, learn how to customize your chat.
Through this plugin, you'll be able to customize your live chat to make it fit with your brand identity. Our live chat also comes with multiple features that will let you skyrocket your customer support.
Here is a quick video that will help you to get things started
To access the plugin, simply follows these quick instructions:
- Go to your Crisp dashboard
- Head over to the Plugins section from the left navigation bar
- Navigate to Plugins > Customization
You can now access various types of customizations, including:
- Specific chatbox color and position
- Custom welcome message
- Personalised header and system messages
- And more options to define your business's style
Please note that chatbox customizations apply per workspace. If you use the same Crisp workspace on multiple websites or subdomains, settings such as the workspace name, logo and most chatbox customizations are shared.
- Chatbox Behavior → enable or disable the availability tooltip shown when the chatbox is closed
- Chatbox Behavior → disable the option to create a new conversation from the chatbox
- Chatbox Appearance → switch back to the default Crisp icon if you want the close button on the chat bubble to be easier to spot
- Chatbox Appearance → open the welcome message dropdown to change the default greeting shown when the chatbox opens
- Chatbox Appearance > Advanced Configuration → click Go to customization to open the Customization plugin directly
If you use Telegram, there is no welcome message in the chatbox. Conversations are started by the visitor's first message and the flow is handled by the bot.
