How to enable the homepage section for the Crisp Chat Widget?

What is the homepage for Crisp chat Widget?


Alongside the release of Hugo AI, the Crisp chat widget got a brand new section, dedicated at simplifying the user experience. The homepage section is now the place where key actions can occur: Search help article, start a conversation, see updates, see servers' status, and much more.




How to enable the homepage section for the new Crisp Chat Widget?


For all the existing customers and new customers, the homepage isn't enabled by default. You have two different setup you can enable:

  1. Ability to toggle on or off the Home section
  2. Ability to change the entrypoint section of the chat widget when the user first opens it: Home, Chat or Helpdesk


Exact procedure to enable the homepage section


Step 1: Go to app.crisp.chat

Step 2: Hit the Settings button at the bottom left of your screen

Step 3: Click the "Chatbot Settings" menu link

Step 4: Click the "Chatbox behavior" menu

Step 5: Enable the toggle "show a home section in the chatbox"
