How to recover your Crisp account password

Learn how to recover access to your Crisp account and set a new password safely.

If you forgot your password, you can request a recovery email from the Crisp login flow. Once you are back in your account, you can update your password from your account security settings.

Recover your password

Use the password recovery page when you cannot log in with your current password.

To recover your account:

  1. Open the Crisp password recovery page.
  2. Enter the email address linked to your Crisp account.
  3. Check your inbox for the temporary password or password recovery link sent by Crisp.
  4. Log in to Crisp with the recovery instructions from the email.
  5. Once you are logged in, go to Settings → Account → Account Information and update your password from the Security section.

If you do not receive the recovery email, check your spam folder and make sure you entered the right account email. Recovery emails are temporary, so request a new one if the previous link or password expired.

If you signed up with Google

Accounts created with Google do not have a Crisp password by default. If you can still access your account from the web app, go to Crisp, then open Settings → Account → Account Information and set a password from the Security section.

If you originally signed up with Google and later changed the email address on the account, Google sign-in and regular password recovery may stop matching the same email. In that case, contact Crisp support and include both addresses.

Details to share with support:

  • Current account email → the email currently shown on your Crisp account
  • Original Google email → the Google account used when signing up

Support can then help you recover access, for example by sending a password reset email to the current account email.

If you are asked for a login code

If password recovery works but you still cannot log in because a login code never arrives, the issue may be related to two-factor authentication, not your password.

Before contacting support:

  • Check the right inbox → make sure you are looking at the inbox for the Crisp account email
  • Check spam and filters → the code email may have been moved automatically
  • Contact support if the code never arrives → the team can guide you through account recovery

Recover your password from the login screen

You can also start the recovery flow directly from the Login screen by using the password recovery option.

Once you have recovered access, update your password from Settings → Account → Account Information → Security so you can log in normally again.
