How to always appear online

Learn how to configure your Crisp availability so you can appear online all the time.

If you want Crisp to treat you as online permanently, you can use your personal availability schedule. This is useful for specific routing setups or teams that always want at least one operator to appear available.

Set yourself as always online

The availability schedule lets you define when your account should appear online. To appear online permanently, configure the schedule to cover every day of the week.

To stay online all the time:

  • Go to Crisp
  • Open Settings from the bottom-left corner
  • Navigate to Settings → Account → Availability
  • Toggle Enable availability schedule
  • Configure every day from Monday to Sunday as online all day
  • Let Crisp auto-save your availability preferences

Enable the Crisp availability schedule from account settings

Invisible mode must be disabled before you can configure or rely on these availability preferences.

When to use this setup

Always-online availability can be helpful, but it should match how your team actually handles conversations. If nobody is monitoring the Inbox, visitors may expect faster replies than your team can provide.

Common reasons to stay online:

  • Routing rules → keep a specific operator eligible for assignment rules
  • Coverage expectations → show users that support is available across the week
  • Internal workflows → keep availability stable for a team process that depends on online status
