I am unable to create my Crisp account or workspace

In some cases, you might see an error when attempting to create your account, create your workspace, or add a workspace. You may see errors such as the following ones:

  • You have been forbidden to create an account.
  • You were banned from creating a Crisp account. Please contact our support service.
  • You may also get signed out or logged out when trying to create a workspace.

These errors can arise under specific circumstances:

  1. If you are attempting to create an account from a country where account registration is currently not available. In that case, don't hesitate contacting us to provide us more information, so that we can help you determine if this is the case.
  2. If you are using a VPN to create your account or workspace. Using a VPN is not allowed for security reasons during these steps as to prevent abuse, you would need to disable it temporarily. You can of course re-enable it once the account creation has been completed.
  3. Network-related issues. You could have an aggressive firewall, or be using a public network from which multiple accounts have already been created. In that case, we recommend trying again from a different network. You can for instance use your smartphone's mobile data for the account or workspace creation step.

If you keep getting logged out while creating a workspace:

  1. Make sure that you are not using a VPN.
  2. Try creating the workspace from another network, such as your mobile data.
  3. If possible, try again in a private / incognito browser window.
  4. If it still does not work, contact us and we can create the workspace for you.

If the issue persists after the suggested steps above, don't hesitate contacting us directly!
