Where to find Crisp subscription invoices

Learn where to find Crisp invoices and what to check when they are not visible from your account.

Invoices are tied to the billing owner, which is usually the Crisp account that owns the payment method linked to the workspace. If you paid for Crisp but cannot find an invoice, the most common reason is that another teammate owns the payment method.

Check invoices from your Crisp account

Go to Crisp, then open Settings → Billing Settings → Invoices.

From there, you can:

  • View invoices generated for the payment method you own
  • Download previous invoices
  • Check which workspace each invoice relates to

You can also access invoices from Settings → Billing Settings → Cards by opening the payment method and clicking See invoices.

See invoices from a Crisp payment method

If a payment method is replaced, invoices from the previous payment method may appear under the new card from the billing owner account.

Check the billing owner account

For security reasons, Crisp only lets the payment method owner access card details and invoices for the workspaces paid with that method.

If you cannot see invoices from your account, ask your team which Crisp account owns the payment method. The billing owner can often be identified from previous invoices.

Billing owner shown on a previous Crisp invoice

If invoices are visible from another teammate's account, that account is probably the billing owner.

If you changed the payment method and linked the workspace from another Crisp account, only the new billing owner will have access to new invoices. Older invoices may remain accessible from the previous billing owner account, so download and keep a copy before transferring billing ownership.

Check whether the card was removed

To access invoices from the dashboard, the billing account should have at least one active payment method.

If no payment method is available anymore, add one temporarily from Settings → Billing Settings → Cards, then return to Settings → Billing Settings → Invoices.

You can follow this guide if you need to add a new payment method: How to link a new payment method?

Check invoice emails

If email notifications were not changed, Crisp sends invoice links after monthly or yearly subscription payments.

Check the inbox of the payment method owner, then search for Crisp invoice or receipt emails around the date of each payment.

Invoice emails are sent to the payment method owner. If an accounting email is configured on the card, the accountant should also receive them.

If your accountant stopped receiving invoices after a payment method change, open Settings → Billing Settings → Cards, edit the payment method, and make sure the invoice recipient email is still filled in.

Confirm that an invoice was generated

Crisp only generates invoices for paid subscription renewals and other paid charges. If your workspace is still in a trial period, or if it has never been charged, no invoice will be available yet.

If you were charged but still cannot find the invoice from the billing owner account or email history, contact Crisp support with the workspace name, payment date, and billing email used for the charge.
